In this 45-minute interactive program, students will have the opportunity to explore the world of STEM through the lens of music, using a variety of instruments, including guitar, accordion, drum, and contrabass balalaika.
Our program covers various aspects of STEM in music, such as the science of sound and vibrations, electronic instruments and amplification, instrument design, and construction, acoustics and sound engineering, and the mathematical relationships within music. We'll also incorporate famous Ukrainian, Spanish, American, and Balkan melodies to provide real-life examples and showcase the rich cultural diversity of music.
